So here are three camping recipes that’ll make you look genius on your next adventure in the woods.

1. Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

What You Need:

  • 3/4 pound green beans, trimmed and halved
  • 1/2 pound red potatoes
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/3 cup water
  • Outdoor grill
  • Aluminum foil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to high heat.
  2. On a large square of aluminum foil, place potatoes, green beans, sausage, and onions.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. Seal the ingredients in the foil so only a small opening remains.
  5. Pour water into the opening and then seal completely.
  6. Cook on grill for 20 to 30 mins, or until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender.

2. Campfire Cookies

What You Need:

  • 1 ounce chopped white chocolate
  • 20 oatmeal cookies
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • Double boiler

Instructions:

  1. Melt white chocolate in double boiler.
  2. Spread melted white chocolate on bottoms of cookies.
  3. Break milk chocolate into 10 pieces.
  4. Place the chocolate pieces on the white chocolate of 10 cookies.
  5. Put the marshmallows on the milk chocolate.
  6. Take the other ten cookies and stack them on the original ten to make sandwiches.
  7. Toast cookies over a campfire, or until chocolate and marshmallows are melted.

3. Handyman Work

What You Need:

  • 12 eggs
  • Cooking Spray
  • Muffin pan
  • Outdoor grill

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. Coat muffin pan with cooking spray.
  3. Crack 1 egg into each muffin tin hole.
  4. Put muffin pan on grill and grill for 2 minutes or until desired consistency.
