Just because the weather turns sour on your vacation doesn’t mean all is lost! With this easy camping recipe you can still enjoy everyone’s favorite sweet camping treat, even without the campfire. Ingredients
Baking sheet or sheet pan
Parchment paper
Graham Crackers
Chocolate bars
Marshmallows
Pro Tip: You can substitute the chocolate bars for other favorite candies like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or chocolate covered caramels for a unique twist on the traditional s’more.
Prep
1. Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.
2. Line the sheet pan with parchment paper for easy clean up.
3. You’ll want to break your graham crackers in half so that one original cracker will make a perfect, square s’more.
4. Cut marshmallows in half.
5. Break chocolate bar into two-piece sections.
Instructions
Line the bottom of your sheet pan with the graham crackers. Place a piece of chocolate — or candy of your choice — in the center of each cracker. Put two halves of the marshmallows on top of the candy and top with the second graham cracker.
Bake in the oven for 5 minutes at 400 degrees.
Pro tip: For extra-special s’mores add a second layer of chocolate/candy and marshmallows to the top of the graham cracker and bake again until the marshmallow is just browning.
Serve with a pie server or wait until the pan cools down and dig in with your fingers! The kids will love these tasty treats and you’ll be glad to have little-to-no clean up afterwards!
