Want A Clutter Free RV?
RVers of all ages face the challenge of keeping their tiny home-on-wheels organized. Despite the many clever storage solutions offered by motor homes, trailers, and fifth-wheels on the market today, there just never seems to be enough cabinets and drawers for all the things a camping person might need.
For this reason we have put together a list of three ingenious camping hacks you can use to keep your RV looking neat and organized while still having the ability to find anything you may need.
1. Toiletry Holder
There is no denying the lack of space in an RV bathroom. A small space means less storage space, and this often leads to problems storing hair accessories, cologne/perfume, toothpaste, and shampoo.
In order to keep these personal-care items organized and out of the way, consider adding an over-the-door shoe organizer to your bathroom door. This can be used to hold all of the little odds and ends found in your bathroom, and because the pockets are transparent, you can see exactly what is inside.
2. Hanging Fruit Basket
If you are a fruit fanatic, you may be disappointed by the lack of fruit storage options in your RV. Because counter space is so limited, the countertop really isn’t an option, and the fridge just isn’t the best place for some fruits. This is where the hanging fruit basket steps in. These nifty contraptions hang from the ceiling in order to provide you with out-of-the-way, easy-to-reach fruit storage.
3. Shoe Storage
Shoes on an RV floor are never fun. They clutter the space and make it difficult to even walk through. Instead of tripping on shoes throughout your camping trip, consider installing shoe racks or even magazine racks on the backside of your dinette or on the wall near your door. People can put their shoes on the rack as they come in, where they will stay out of the way.
These are just a few of the great RV organization tips out there. Keep an eye on our blog for more amazing camping hacks to make your trips less stressful and more memorable.
