Places to Stay

One of the most popular campgrounds in the Sturgeon Bay area is Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Door County.  Here, you’ll find lots of outdoor activities, including an outdoor pool, shuffleboard, and horseshoes.  Plus, there are plenty of 30 and 50 amp sites available with shade and firepits.

If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, seek out Monument Point Camping.  This campground features only a few campsites, but they are all wooded and feature beautiful scenery and a great selection of hiking trails.

No vacation is complete without a little sight-seeing!  That’s why Door County, WI, is a great place to go!  You’ll find amazing hiking trails, or book a tour of the many Belgian Chapels that are scattered across the land. Shipwrecks

If you love to snorkel, then Sturgeon Bay is a destination you will love!  There are tons of diving and snorkeling opportunities for you to explore some of the shipwrecks throughout the area.  If you prefer to stay dry, but still want to tour the shipwrecks, then try a clear-bottom kayaking tour!

Keeping the kids entertained while you explore historical landmarks isn’t always easy.  So spend a day at The Farm and let them enjoy getting to see and help with the animals.  You can watch chickens hatch, help with milking, and even bottle-feed the babies!

Another great activity for the kids is to visit the local Skyway Drive-In Theater.  This local landmark offers double features and a playground for the kids so that you can enjoy a movie, and they can burn off a little extra energy before bed.
